ACE

Activism and Community Engagement

Jump to section

ACE is le Shaw’s holistic approach to addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by sex workers and adult industry professionals.
Our work is guided by six core pillars:

  • Nothing About Us Without Us
We prioritize the leadership and voices of sex workers in our initiatives.
  • Sex Work is Work
We advocate for the rights, agency, and dignity of sex workers as legitimate workers.
  • Sex Positivity
We promote open, respectful, and non-judgmental conversations around sexuality and sex work.
  • Diversity and Intersectionality
We champion inclusivity, recognizing the layered experiences across identities and backgrounds.
  • Ethics of Care
We foster a culture of empathy, respect, and community well-being in all our actions.
  • Evidence-Based Solutions
We develop initiatives and recommendations grounded in research and real-world evidence.

Why ACE Matters

At le Shaw, we believe every individual deserves safety, dignity, and respect. Through ACE, we drive systemic change while supporting sex workers and adult industry professionals in building empowered, healthy futures.

Key Impacts of ACE:

  • Delivering health and wellbeing resources to hundreds of cam models each year.
  • Partnering with global NGOs to expand advocacy and support efforts.
  • Creating specialized tools, resources, and strategies to advance rights and workplace standards.

Community Advisory Board (CAB):

Our Community Advisory Board (CAB) is a diverse group of adult industry professionals who bring a wide range of experiences, identities, and perspectives.

The CAB plays a critical role in shaping le Shaw’s research, projects, and advocacy efforts, ensuring that all initiatives are informed by those with lived experience. We meet with the CAB monthly to gather feedback, discuss emerging challenges, and collaboratively guide the direction of our work, ensuring that our actions remain authentic, inclusive, and impactful.
